A serie of paintings representing the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
I believe that the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, as they were proclaimed in Paris on 10 December 1948, are the most important rules for humanity on our earth. If everybody would stick to it, we would all together live in paradise. As long as we are not there yet, we have to fight for those rights for every single person.
The Human Rights paintings are my most important artworks and I plan to do one article each year untill I will have done all 30 of them – as long as I will have the capability to paint.

This painting is traveling around the world… see why

In 2016 I saw an Open Call of a german association called „Pictures for the Human Rights e.V.“ to create one of the 30 articles of the Human Rights. I decided to take a chance on §25 and painted „The Invisibles“, applied and were accepted. They bought the right to use my painting for their exhibitions and more. Since 2017 the association arranges free, public exhibitions of the 30 articles of the Human Rights, each one created by different artists.
This exhibition has been shown so far in Germany, Luxemburg, but also in Brüssel at the European Parlament and in the United Nation Headquarter in New York. It is still traveling.
