After a joyful year of painting plein air on my island, someone I know came to me and said: „Shouldn’t it be wonderful to make a book out of this fabulous artproject, so that the reader could follow your journey, even if he or she haven’t been to Öland yet?“ Well… I hade plans for some small sculptures to make, but as this person wanted to offer the cost of the book, there was no doubt: I went over my blog and shortened the text. Efter that I found a professional photographer who took pictures of my 52 watercolor paintings. My husband helped me with the layout … and three months later we got a delivery of boxes with books.
As the book can be interesting for both Swedes and foreign visitors, I translated it into swedish too.
