Lives and works in Mellböda / Öland / Sweden
„As a child I had sticky fingers and paint-stained hands all the time. Drawing, cutting and crafting were the best I knew. Of course I would study art – I was so sure about – , but my family insisted that I must get a „real job“ and art may be a hobby. My strong empathy and kindness seemed to make me ideal for hospitality, so working in Firstclass-Hotels became my career. The first child was born quite early and after that I concentrated on family life. Over the years I continued to be creative in various ways, took painting classes and never stopped drawing. In 2008 I moved from Berlin to northern Öland, have since put down my roots and now live a happy life. My involvement in art in northern Öland took off and my creativity increased. Since the beginning of 2024, I have focused on my artistic work.“
