What it looks like when I work.
While I get lost in painting, time slips away unnoticed, boredom finds no place, and I don’t even need music – although sometimes I enjoy the Artjuice podcast. But I’ve always wondered why some people find it interesting to watch someone else paint. Personally, I find it pretty dull, except when it comes to getting inspired by a new technique or some trick. Although, I do know some of my friends enjoy it, but they were hesitant for a while because they thought it might disturb me. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me at all, since I’m completely absorbed in my canvas and the subject at hand.
Painting can take its time. I filmed a quick video at the start of my painting session because I knew I’d forget to later, once I got into the groove. Here’s what I managed to create after about 1.5 hours.
